Wayne Taylor

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Wayne Taylor, age 70, who passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Taylor was a native of Bacon County living the past thirty-one years in Appling County. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a loving husband and father.

Mr. Taylor is preceded by his parents, Jessie and Felmer Taylor; one son, Wayne “Tater” Taylor; and a granddaughter, Kylie Faith Taylor.

Surviving is his wife, Kay Taylor; two children, Chad Mann, and Kasey Taylor; five grandchildren, Emily Mann, Kelsey Taylor, Briley Haggard, Brayden Herrington, and Garett Gunter; and a sister, Irene Sutton also survives.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Daniels officiating.

Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers are Randy Thomas, Jason Mann, Jacob Johnson, Joseph Switzer, Jerry Heirs, and Mason Terrell.

Honorary Pallbearers are all in attendance.
