Lawonda Norris Deen

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the graveside service for Ms. Lawonda Norris Deen, age 78, who passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her residence in Thomson, Ga. She was a native of Appling County, living the last 41 years in Thomson.

Ms. Deen is preceded in death by her parents Sammy and Modena Tottle Norris; a daughter, Debbie Stephens; and two grandchildren, Louise Richards, and Christopher Pender

Surving is her husband of sixty-one years, Jimmie Deen; three children, Dewayne (Saka) of Utah, Wendy (Stevie) Lampp of Thomson, and Danny Deen of Thomson; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and two siblings, Janell Sellers of Brunswick, and Lonnie Norris of Baxley; a son in law, Charlie Stephens also survive.

The graveside service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Billy Shores officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Ms. Deen will lie in state from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers are James Martin, Andrew Johnson, Steve Gunby, Keith Norris, Cody Nail, Tommy Vickers.
