Janet Presley Orvin

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mrs. Janet Presley Orvin, age 77, who passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Appling Healthcare. Mrs. Orvin was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired seamstress, and a member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Orvin was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mattie Music Presley; and two brothers, Jaunice Presley and Dwight Presley.

Surviving is her husband, H.B. Orvin; four sons, Stacey Orvin (Laura), Reid Orvin (Melissa), Scotty Orvin (Tena), and Lantz Orvin (Marissa); twelve grandchildren, Dustin Orvin, Ridge Orvin, Gage Orvin, Gavin Orvin, Logan Orvin, John Presley Orvin, Jessilee Orvin, Austin Orvin, Gracie Orvin, Kai Orvin, Mattox Orvin, Mallie Orvin; and five great grandchildren, three sisters, Wanda Altman, Joanne Hunter, and Janice Sellers; many nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael McClintock and Reverend Joey Andrews officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers are all family and friends in attendance.
