Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Ms. Hilda McCall, age 92, who passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Augusta University Health. Ms. McCall was a native and longtime resident of Appling County; a former Ship and Shore employee retiring from Oxford Manufacturing, a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Willie V. McCall; daughter, Pam Cranford; sisters, Hazel Griffis and Wanda Smoak Powell; parents, Gordan Estell Aspinwall and Mattie Lou Mann Aspinwall Kent.
Surviving are her two daughters, Linda Kay Eunice (Neil) and Trish White; sisters, Helen Cody, Wilda Holman, Judy Knight, Ima Dean Sapp and Erma Jean Mitchell; brothers, Albert Kent, J.L. Kent, Bernie Kent and Dale Kent; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and son-in-law, Glynn Cranford.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 11 A.M. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Rick Brown, Reverend Darrell Quinn, and Glynn Cranford officiating.
Interment will follow.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Joy Sunday School Class and the Delmus Hale Sunday School Class of Mt. Vernon Baptist church.
